The third and last major step in developing the Association des Dube s website has been reached. After bringing online the French version of our basic site on October 6, 2007, and using the following months to gradually expand the contents of the Members Only section, an intensive translation program started in February has brought us to successful realization of this project. Currently, the French and English versions of our basic website are very similar. The user can navigate from one section to the other by clicking on a button located in the upper right-hand corner of each webpage. All of the pages posted on the English version of our website have an equivalent page on the French site. However, two pages posted on the French version of the site have not been translated, since they were deemed to present scant interest to prospective visitors. These two French pages contain no English button. The achievement of projects specifically designed for our Anglophone visitors and described in the English version will be the decisive factor for eventually posting an English version of the Association s Vitality and Becoming a Member sections. Their translation and posting thus remain on the ice. If some day we can offer sufficient services to our Anglophone visitors, their financial contribution as regular members will be solicited and the two major versions of our website will become essentially symmetrical.
