Joseph Dube and Philomene Nadeau: Lineage Resolved

Few genealogical problems have held as much attention of genealogists and researchers as the lineage of Joseph Dubé and Philomène Nadeau. Numerous research initiatives by l’Association des Dubé d’Amérique in past years, have yielded limited results. However, recent findings by ADA Director, Joseph Dubé, Edmundston, New Brunswick provides answers to the genealogy enigma of this couple.

The new findings are detailed and chronicled in an article written in French by Secretary Nelson and Director Joseph Dubé entitled Joseph Dubé et Philomène Nadeau: un branchement réussi. The article contains also a significant contribution by Linda Cote-Dube of Madawaska, Maine. The English translation by Gilbert Dubé, Boca Raton, Florida entitled Joseph Dubé and Philomène Nadeau: Lineage Resolved is posted in the Publications section of this Website. Gilbert is part of the lineage of Joseph Dubé and Philomène Nadeau and member of ADA.
